FALL IN LOVE WITH THE BIGHORN MOUNTAINS Near Sheridan The Bighorns near Sheridan are an expansive outdoor playground for backpacking, hiking, climbing, fishing and camping — without the crowds. The landscape ranges from evergreen forests and rugged alpine peaks to steep canyons and sprawling prairie, while inhabitants at lower elevations include pronghorn, mule deer and golden eagles.
